Excellent in filling wild rice soup with Lucious cheddar biscuit! The bartender was also kind enough to make a brandy hot toddy for me as I started feeling a bit under the weather. Cozy and friendly people all around !

Great service great food. Why three stars? Thats just wrong-Im giving 5stars. Its a hotel restaurant and it's definitely reasonably priced in that context and food and service is fabulous. I ordered a diet soda and the server was so excited to tell me they have diet Dr Pepper I just had to have one... she was awesome. I got the heirloom tomato soup- the spoonbread with butter was to die for. Flakey and herby. The soup was a little spicy byt comforting. Then I had the walleye fish sandwich( recommended by my server) and lovd it!!! Juicy and crispy with these lovely pickled onions. The brioche bread was light and fluffy rather than heavy and dence. Im so happy with my meal!
Amazing food! Everything we ate was amazing. Such unique flavors. Chicken wings had a light sweet rub but very crispy, the Brussels appetizer was sweet and salty, everything was fabulous!
We had a very nice dinner here last night. The bartender fashioned a tasty non-alcoholic cocktail for my wife and I enjoyed a beer from their eclectic on-tap choices. She loved her spinach salad and my burger was generous. Service was prompt and attentive.
Prairie Kitchen & Bar is located inside of the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. I visited here several times during my stay at the hotel - a couple of times for breakfast, once for a private reception, once for dinner, and once for an Ale. Breakfast: One morning I had an omelette - with spinach, mushrooms, onions, and cheddar with a side of bacon. The omelette was well made and the bacon was delicious! The second morning I had a Brisket Hash - succulent chopped brisket intermingled with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Very rich and tasty! I had a wild rice soup one evening - hearty and filling! Good beer selection - I had a local craft beer from Surly Brewing Co., Minneapolis, MN. Service was always good. Lots of seating in the bar - and a number of large flat screen HD TVs! #PrairieKitchenandBar
